Cebu media to get stories directly from Presidential Communication Office

CEBU CITIZENS-PRESS COUNCIL (CCPC) March 3, 2017 NEWS FEED FROM MALACAÑANG News stories and other materials from the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) will be e-mailed to addressees of major Cebu media outlets at about the same time they are released to the Malacañang Press Corps. Jose Rafael Ferreros (March 15, 1944-January 6, 2017)

Jose Rafael “Junjo” Ferreros, founding member of the Cebu Citizens-Press Council, died of respiratory and cardiac failure at 8:18 a.m. today, Jan. 6, 2017, in Cebu City. He was 72 years old. A former senior assistant governor of Rotary International District 3860, Ferreros served the press council for 11 years.

Journalism books at city library

A section of the Cebu City Public Library will be devoted to journalism books and other journalism-related materials. Called CJJ Books, the section will be the latest addition to the facilities of the library, located at the ground floor of Rizal Memorial Library & Museum building along Osmeña Blvd., Cebu City.
